Before and After Care
To make your experience as comfortable and effective as possible, please review the following guidelines:

Hair Length
• For optimal results, hair should be 1/4 inch (about 0.6 cm) long — roughly the length of a grain of rice.
• If your hair is too short, the sugar may not grip; too long, it may be more uncomfortable.

Skin Care
• Avoid applying lotions, oils, or heavy creams 24 hours prior to your appointment.
• Avoid Epsom salt baths 24 hours prior to your appointment.
• Avoid tanning/sun exposure 24 hours prior.
• Clean, dry skin helps the sugar paste adhere properly and ensures the best results.

Clothing
• Wear loose, comfortable clothing on the day of your appointment, especially for intimate or leg services.
• Avoid tight clothing immediately after sugaring to prevent irritation.

Pain & Comfort
• If it’s your first time, consider taking acetaminophen 30–45 minutes before your session (optional).
• Avoid caffeine immediately before your appointment — it can make skin more sensitive.

Aftercare
• Avoid hot showers/baths, saunas, intense workouts, and tanning/sun exposure for 24 hours post-treatment.
• Avoid fragranced soaps/lotions for 24 hours.
• Keep the area clean and moisturized with gentle, fragrance-free lotion.
• After 24 hours, begin gentle daily exfoliation to help prevent ingrown hairs.

Menstruation
Intimate areas can be done at any time of month.  Please wear a tampon if necessary.
• Some women experience more sensitivity during their menstrual cycle.

Rescheduling
• If your skin is irritated, sunburned, or you are feeling unwell, please reschedule.  This ensures your safety and the best possible results.
